Academic School 4 Arts and Inna’s Hall of Fame proudly present Matilda Jr. the Musical, directed by Brian Blattman, choreographed by Lisa Emrecovic, and produced by Inna Maor. This exciting production brings Roald Dahl’s beloved story to life with energetic music, bold characters, and a celebration of courage, creativity, and the power of standing up for what’s right.
Matilda is an extraordinary girl with a brilliant mind, a huge love of books, and a family that barely notices her. While her parents ignore her talents, Matilda teaches herself everything she wants to know and discovers she has a special gift—she can move things with her mind.
When she starts school, she meets the kind and gentle Miss Honey, who recognizes Matilda’s genius. But the school is ruled by the terrifying headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, who bullies the students and makes life miserable for everyone.
Using her intelligence, bravery, and a little bit of magic, Matilda helps her classmates stand up to Miss Trunchbull. In the end, Miss Honey becomes the loving guardian Matilda always deserved, and Matilda finally finds a home where she is valued and understood.
